NJ AFL-CIO backs FAIR Act to regulate AI in the workplace
The New Jersey AFL-CIO announced support for the FAIR Act (S-4075/A-4981), sponsored by Sen. Andrew Zwicker and Assemblywoman Heather Simmons, which sets worker protections as AI reshapes workplaces. Nearly half of employed New Jerseyans already use AI at work, and more than half of U.S. workers worry about its future use, including surveillance, discrimination, privacy and job security.
