QuEra Uses AI to Automatically Lock Quantum Computer Lasers

QuEra deployed the Model Hardware Standard, originally from an Anthropic and HHMI Janelia collaboration, letting an AI agent control roughly $0.7M of precision hardware within human-set safety bounds. Laser relocking that once required an expert's manual, in-person recovery now completes and verifies in seconds, and can tune a second operating wavelength in one run.
