Milwaukee Police Weigh Generative AI but Have Not Adopted It

The Milwaukee Police Department says it does not currently use generative AI but is evaluating tools such as Axon's Draft One, which drafts reports from body-camera audio. Its January policy treats AI output as drafts requiring review and disclosure; critics including the ACLU cite risks of error, hallucination and training-data bias for criminal defendants.
