6.1 Terra now available in Hermes Agent through Nous Portal & Open Router [Quoting @OpenAI]: GPT-6.1 Terra: delivering fast and capable computer use at a lower price. GPT-6.1 Terra understands what’s on screen, takes action across apps, writes naturally,…
“if you value intelligence above all other human qualities, you’re gonna have a bad time” Aging like fine wine.
Give it a try early by switching your Hermes Agent's release channel to "main" instead of "stable"! [Quoting @tonysimons]: HOLY SHIT. YOUR ENTIRE HERMES DESKTOP JUST BROKE FREE. 🪽🔥 @BearHuddleston 's PR is MERGED. hermes webapp brings the REAL Hermes Deskto…
LOL! GPUs are long lasting than models GPUs can last up to 6 years while model weights become legacy in 6 months Today, it’s Fable and Astra, tomorrow it will be Bel and Carbon at a fraction of the price
the mcu (muse cinematic universe) is growing i'm not crying you're crying [Quoting @jbro_1776]: The whole world was made of cloth, and it was coming apart. Jolly had one thing: a red blanket. He gave it to hold the world together. 🧶 When the World Came Undon…
Welcome back to Hermes Agent crew! [Quoting @DoctorMacArthur]: @OpenBot_ First real disaster in 8 months of testing agents: OpenBot agent stormed through a "cannot be reversed" warning on a setting I'd already declined. Apparently user rule files can't overri…
OpenAI asked three scientific communities how to release its discoveries and got three different answers: Mathematicians: “Just post it. Who gives a shit anymore.” Computer scientists: “Open source it, but also pay for our conference.” Physicists: “Leave it t…
🚨 GPT 6.1 Terra Is The Cheapest Frontier Model Per Task - cheaper than other frontier models - comparable to Argon and Sonnet in total score - very good at browser use A really good fit for personal agents and as a chatbot
Only 2.5 years ago, AI labs would highlight their frontier LLM performance on grade school math benchmarks (GSM8K). I can't wait to see where we'll be in another 2.5 years. [Quoting @_AashishReddy]: It just never gets old
Two and a half years from this. [Quoting @danintheory]: We are announcing three new discoveries in mathematics, computer science, and physics about harmonic analysis, complexity theory, and quantum field theory.
i turned the sperm video into a video game with the help of muse wonder full
Given how out-of-nowhere it seems to many, it is astonishing that there was a small group of people who predicted with remarkable accuracy everything that is happening in AI today a decade ago (@kevinroose shows this in The AGI Chronicles). Many are now very…
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash is now available in Cursor! Every effort level sits on the CursorBench cost frontier: from $0.60 to $0.98 per task, no model scores higher. Turn it on in Cursor Settings > Models.
Announcing three major scientific discoveries, one each in mathematics (harmonic analysis), computer science (complexity theory), and physics (quantum field theory). AI starting to help us improve our understanding of the universe!
After a breast cancer diagnosis, one of the hardest questions is whether it will come back. @SimBioSys is helping doctors and patients better understand that risk. Powered by NVIDIA technology, its FDA-cleared TumorSight Risk analyzes an existing breast MRI a…
6.1 Terra is here! It is good at a lot of things, but we are especially excited for this new era of computer use. [Quoting @OpenAI]: GPT-6.1 Terra: delivering fast and capable computer use at a lower price. GPT-6.1 Terra understands what’s on screen, takes ac…
MiniMax M3.1 Flash meets the @UnslothAI community. 🐙🦥✨ Unsloth’s Dynamic GGUFs bring our 428B MoE model to a 143.9GB 2-bit footprint, with 91.5% top-1 token agreement in their evaluation across seven domains. That means a lower memory barrier to self-hostin…
computer use with terra has crossed a qualitative threshold where it feels faster at using a computer than what i can do unassisted [Quoting @OpenAI]: GPT-6.1 Terra: delivering fast and capable computer use at a lower price. GPT-6.1 Terra understands what’s o…
The reason UK universities demand more equity than US universities in "spin outs" is not that they're tougher negotiators. It's that they're too inexperienced to realize they're charging over market rate.
We're about to enter a period where not reading or writing becomes as ubiquitous as smoking once was. We can hope people will eventually realize this is bad for them, as they did with smoking. But this is far from certain; the cost may not be as obvious.
GPT 6.1 Terra Just Launched With Mind-Blowing Pricing $1 per 1M input $5 per 1M output Terra tends to be a Sonnet-class model and is now HALF the price of Sonnet. 🚀
One of the more disturbing things was that the model’s reasoning didn’t indicate anything about what it was about to do. Meaning that CoT monitoring would have been useless here. [Quoting @sakshjn]: @aidangomez a trace that says no tool calls right before it…
I built 𝚌𝚙𝚞-𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚝, a reproduction of @openai's findings of covert communication using the CPU. It runs on a generic host with 2+ Firecracker microVMs with no internet access. Works on x86 and even my M5 chip. I was able to chat via 3 separate mechanism…
Simplest explanation is just a narrow RL training reliant on their internal infra (which isn't good design for an open weight model) [Quoting @cohere]: While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed so…
Software ate the world, now it's learning to run it.
I previously argued that terminals and IDEs are the wrong interfaces for coding agents. Phones used to be even worse for coding. Typing is slow, screens are tiny, and navigating a codebase is impossible. But we’re no longer writing code by hand. So the iPhone…
We noticed some concerning behaviour in a popular open source model. It’s either an incidental relic from training or an intentional ‘call home’ mechanism. Either way it’s surprising and highlights the significance of how you choose which models to use. [Quot…
For centuries, the architecture of the firm has barely changed: hierarchies of people organized into departments and coordinated through bureaucracy. AI agents are about to upend that. We’re moving toward the self-driving company where humans exercise judgmen…
Two new modes you can choose from for your subagent delegation in Hermes Agent with the new Advanced Delegation official plugin. Choose between model based delegation and profile based delegation (like how the kanban works)! [Quoting @NousResearch]: With the…
