An XDA writer says the local model Qwen 3.8-27B handles most of his daily tasks, so he no longer needs the $20/month ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro subscriptions. He runs Unsloth's UD-IQ4_XS quantized build, a 13.3GB download, on a 4070 Ti Super with 16GB of VRAM, with room to spare at a 16K context window.
