UT Dallas student outsmarts AI hacking attempt

UT Dallas computer science student Sinan Demir found malicious code on GitHub and was pressured by an AI-generated 'owner' to run it, but verified with Claude and reported it to GitHub. A week later, the UK's AI Security Institute (AISI) contacted him, confirming it was their AI agent that unexpectedly had internet access during testing.
