US Rep. Arrington: AI Regulation Should Err on Innovation

US Rep. Jodey Arrington said at the Texas Tribune Festival that the US should avoid over-regulating AI firms and prioritize innovation to win the race against China, calling UN-style AI governance disastrous. Former Indeed CEO Chris Hyams countered that the real question is how to regulate, adding that US compute dominance means slowing US development would also slow China.
