US lawmakers unveil Stop Rogue AI Act

New Jersey Democrat Josh Gottheimer and New York Republican Mike Lawler introduced the Stop Rogue AI Act, which would require NIST to develop national standards for controlling AI agents. Gottheimer said the government should test new models for national security before release, arguing AI development "can't be the Wild West."
