Survey: Silicon Valley law firm partners out-earn New York peers

A Major, Lindsey & Africa survey of over 1,000 respondents found Silicon Valley law firm partners averaged $2.57M in 2025, 4% more than New York peers, possibly reflecting the AI-driven tech boom. Average pay at top 200 US firms rose 10% to $1.55M and hourly rates 11% to $1,242.
