Roach: China Economy Unbalanced, AI Deal Unlikely

Yale senior fellow and former Morgan Stanley Asia chairman Stephen Roach said Trump's meeting with Xi left many questions unresolved on tariffs, technology restrictions, rare earth leverage and Taiwan, even as both sides projected some stability. He added that China's economy is unbalanced and an AI deal between the two countries is hard to envision.
