Respan launches open-source Rust AI gateway built around plugins

YC W24 startup Respan launched an open-source Rust AI gateway with a small core and plugin architecture covering providers, protocols, modalities, fallbacks and PII redaction. The team said its LiteLLM wrapper exceeded 100,000 lines and upgrade failures pushed it to redesign.
