Polls show US voters concerned about AI advancement, data center construction

Multiple polls show US voters are concerned about AI development: a Politico poll found a plurality want to pause AI development, a NYT/Siena poll found 61% oppose data center construction, and a CNN poll found 71% say the federal government is not doing enough to regulate AI. However, AI is not a top voting issue.
