Over half of US VC funding goes to billionaire-led companies this year

Crunchbase data shows that in the first 10 months of this year, seven companies founded or led by billionaires, including OpenAI, Anthropic and xAI, raised over $260 billion, accounting for more than 50% of US seed- through growth-stage investment. Their founders include Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Sam Altman.
