OpenAI, Anthropic Use Different Revenue Metrics, Clouding AI Valuations

The two private AI companies use different methods to calculate annualized revenue, making comparisons difficult for investors. OpenAI expects to reach or exceed $70 billion in annualized revenue by year-end, while Anthropic hit $65 billion in July, but the figures aren't apples to apples.
