Monzo engineers: trust, not speed, is the bottleneck for finance AI agents

Monzo's Francesco Galletta and Felippe Felisola Caso told AI Engineer that trust, not speed, is the main bottleneck for finance AI agents, and that a blank chat box fails on money tasks. They demoed an analyst harness built on five principles — shared domain, consistency, evidence, accountability and verification — and stressed aligning on definitions before letting tools do the arithmetic.
