Lawsuit: Abridge use by AHN, Highmark violates patients

A Pittsburgh woman sued Allegheny Health Network and Highmark, alleging they failed to notify patients about using Abridge to record clinical visits and thereby violated privacy. The complaint says AHN began using Abridge in 2024 (now ~400 providers), Highmark started in Aug 2025, and recordings are sent to Abridge’s servers to train commercial models.
