Kazakhstan Builds $5 Billion AI Data Center Hub in Ekibastuz

Kazakhstan is building the $5 billion Data Center Valley in Ekibastuz. The phased hub targets 1 GW of total power capacity; all 215 MW of phase one is reserved, and the first 50 MW data center should start operating in Q2 2027. Officials aim to attract international tech firms and make Kazakhstan a computing hub.
