Jassy: AWS to become $1T business, but big spending comes first

Amazon CEO Jassy reiterated AWS can become the first $1 trillion annual-revenue business, with 2026 cash capex expected at about $220 billion, mostly for AWS, and more in 2027. AWS is a $184 billion annualized run-rate business growing 39% year over year, and Jassy expects growth above 40% in both 2027 and 2028.
