Infineon to invest €1.1B in Austrian chip plant over eight years

Infineon plans to spend €1.1 billion ($1.2 billion) over eight years to expand its key power chip plant in Austria, betting on rising demand for energy-efficient semiconductors for AI data centers, EVs and robotics.
