Expert offers tips to guard against AI-powered scams

University of Missouri cybersecurity expert Prasad Calyam warns criminals use AI for convincing phishing emails, fake retail sites, voice cloning and deepfakes, and chatbots posing as support agents or romantic partners. He advises against sharing Social Security numbers, addresses, passwords, banking or medical data with AI tools.
