Cigna and OpenAI partner to support patients with complex conditions

Cigna will embed OpenAI's frontier reasoning models into its clinical workflows and consumer-facing experiences, starting with cancer patients, to spot needs faster and improve care coordination between physician visits. A first initiative gives oncology nurses and case managers at Cigna Healthcare and Accredo Specialty Pharmacy AI tools that unify clinical, pharmacy, behavioral and benefits information.
