China's intelligent computing hits 2,185 EFLOPS, targets 9,800 by 2030

China's intelligent computing capacity reached 2,185 EFLOPS by the end of June 2026, with over 70 major computing corridors built, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. An August 2026 blueprint for 2026-2030 targets 9,800 EFLOPS and 1,700 EB of advanced storage by 2030, more than fivefold and twofold increases over 2025.
