Army CECOM pushes in-house AI development

The U.S. Army's Communications-Electronics Command is integrating AI into its communications, intelligence and cyber warfare systems. Its Army Software and Innovation Center is experimenting with algorithms for tasks like logging maintenance reports and auditing travel expenses, while encouraging rank-and-file soldiers to build their own AI tools.
