Apple adds AI chatbot to Pages, Keynote and Numbers

Apple is adding an AI assistant built on Apple and OpenAI models to Keynote, Pages and Numbers, able to understand document context for tasks like animating slides, drafting text and visualizing data. On macOS 27 or later, the apps also support the Model Context Protocol, letting third-party AI agents plug in.
