AI tool predicts cancer survival from a single selfie, study says

Researchers at Mass General Brigham built an AI system trained on over 40 million facial photos across ethnicities and ages that can estimate biological age and predict cancer survival from a single face photo. The tools, FAHR-FaceAge and FAHR-FaceSurvival, rely on facial features such as creases to make predictions. The study was published in Lancet Digital Health.
