AI Detects Coronary Heart Disease from Face and Tongue Photos

A small study from China found that an AI system trained on face and tongue photographs correctly identified every patient with coronary heart disease in testing, with 98% accuracy. Larger trials are still needed before the technology can be used for routine screening.
