AI detects aging signs in blood stem cells

Researchers from IDIBELL, BSC-CNS and ISGlobal developed ChromAgeNet, a convolutional neural network tool that identifies aging patterns from the 3D chromatin organization in hematopoietic stem cell nuclei. The model was built on DAPI-stained mouse stem cell images, with results published in Aging Cell.
