Argonne applies AI and self-driving labs to biology

Under DOE’s Genesis Mission, Argonne launched three projects—OPAL, IdeA, and MELT-REE—using self-driving labs, reasoning AI, and high-performance computing to accelerate bio-design and experiments; project leads include Dion Antonopoulos, Ian Foster, and Arvind Ramanathan.
